"VTT integration has been kind of frustrating"
I bought a few books on D&D Beyond thinking they’d connect smoothly with my virtual tabletop, but it hasn’t really worked out that way. Maybe I expected too much, but it feels only partly connected, and I still find myself copying things over manually or relying on extensions that don’t always keep working.
For the price, I guess I just thought this would be more straightforward. My players get mixed up, I lose prep time sorting it out, and the support answers I got didn’t really clear things up. I’m not sure I’d buy there again

"Mostly fine, just a bit laggy"
Pages usually load okay for me, but the character sheets can get laggy during games. It’s not terrible or anything, haha, just a little annoying when you’re trying to keep things moving
"I use D&D Beyond mostly for sourcebooks…"
I use D&D Beyond mostly for sourcebooks, it’s super convenient. Having everything digital and easy to search is a big plus. That said, buying the digital books can still feel a little expensive sometimes. Like, shouldn’t digital copies be a bit cheaper? The sales definitely help a lot though, and when you can grab something discounted, it feels much more worth it...
"Felt Like I Was Waiting Forever"
I waited days hoping someone would actually help me out, and when I finally got a reply, I was just sitting there like, “Wait… that’s it?” It barely answered anything and didn’t really help with the issue. Frustrating, honestly.
"Useful for my group, but the cost is hard to ignore"
I’ve been using D&D Beyond for my current campaign, it’s been convenient overall. The character sheets are easy to manage, and having everything in one place saves a lot of table time. Book sharing with the group is also really nice, especially when everyone’s already using the same tools. There are little things I appreciate too, like not having to flip through pages constantly or remind players where certain rules are. Since my group is already set up on it, it would be kind of a hassle to move away at this point, so I’m still using it and getting value out of it. That said, the subscription feels a little underwhelming for what you get. Paying monthly and then still having to buy the digital books separately adds up faster than I’d like. I don’t think it’s a bad service at all, but for the price, I wish the subscription included more.

"Makes Game Night Feel Smoother"
I use the character sheet pretty much every session now, and it’s made a bigger difference than I expected. Having level ups, spells, and dice rolls all in one place means I spend less time digging around and more time actually being in the story with everyone. It’s not perfect, sure, but it’s one of those tools that quietly makes the whole experience feel easier and more fun...

"Helpful app, with a few small hiccups"
I mostly use D&D Beyond on my phone, and overall it’s been smooth for managing character sheets. Every now and then it takes a little longer to load or briefly freezes when I’m switching between tabs, but it’s not a huge deal. It’s still really handy to have during sessions.

"Good overall, but updates could be faster"
i mean, I use D&D Beyond often and it works fine most of the time. The main thing that bugs me is that content updates can feel a little slow. New books or rule changes don’t always show up as quickly as I’d expect. It’s definitely not a bad site, I just wish they were a bit quicker about keeping everything current. For what it costs, it feels like that part should be a little better.

"Works okay, but read the policies first"
The site itself works fine and I didn’t have any major issues using it, but the policy stuff is annoying. Just a heads up to anyone thinking about using it: make sure you read through the terms and details carefully so you don’t get caught off guard later.

"Pretty easy to get around"
The layout is clear, and I can usually find my books, and characters, fast. A few pages feel a little busy, here and there, but overall, it’s a nice experience.

"The spell items feel a bit all over the place"
I’m not sure exactly how to explain it, but the spell items just feel kind of messy to me. When I’m using them, I don’t get that smooth or satisfying feeling I expected, and it makes the whole experience feel a little frustrating. It’s not necessarily that everything is bad, but emotionally it just feels cluttered and harder to enjoy than it should be.

"I mostly use D&D Beyond when…"
I mostly use D&D Beyond when i need to look up rules or stuff from the books real quick. The compendium is easy enough to get around, and the search usually gets me where I need to go without much hassle. Every now and then some pages feel kinda buried, especially if I’m bouncing between different books, but it’s still WAY better than digging through PDFs. overall, I’m happy with it

"I thought the discounts would make…"
I thought the discounts would make buying books easier, but it ended up being way more stressful than I expected. Having to buy the same books twice pretty much wiped out any savings, it just felt like an unnecessary headache.

"It does what I need it to…"
It does what I need it to do, so I can’t really complain too much, but it’s definitely not the smoothest experience. I found it useful overall, especially once I figured out where everything was and how it was supposed to work, but getting to that point took more effort than I expected. Some parts feel a bit awkward or not super intuitive, like you have to click around or try a few things before it makes sense. I’ll still keep using it because it gets the job done, but I do wish it felt a little more polished and easier to navigate

"Email Change Was Super Easy"
Not gonna lie, I was expecting changing my email to be a hassle, but it was actually really simple and quick. No issues at all...

"Reliable and reassuring"
It works every time. I’m the kind of person who likes to feel confident something is going to do what it says, and this has been really reassuring so far.

"Literally could not be happier with these"
I bought a few digital books i was bracing myself for some weird license nightmare, but nope, everything worked perfectly. The licenses activated fine, and my players can use them too, which is AMAZING because I did not want to become tech support for the whole table. Super smooth experience, 10/10, I’m weirdly thrilled about it
"I mostly use D&D Beyond for…"
I mostly use D&D Beyond for our campaign, the content sharing is the best part. Our DM just turns it on and suddenly everyone can access the books, spells, races, and all that stuff without having to hunt around for it. How convenient is that?? It saves us a ton of time when we’re making characters or checking options. The setup was a little confusing the first time, not gonna lie, but once we figured it out, it basically just worked.
"Pretty solid for D&D character sheets"
I use D&D Beyond all the time for my character sheets, it’s easy to use overall. The text is clear, the menus mostly make sense, and it works fine when I zoom in on my browser. I’m literally on there constantly during games, so accessibility matters a lot to me. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that some buttons and popups can be annoying to deal with, especially on mobile. It’s definitely usable, just not always as smooth as I’d like. Still a good site for D&D stuff.

"I use DnDBeyond for encounters often…"
I use D&D Beyond for encounters often, and it’s been reliable for me so far. The monster info lines up with the books, and I haven’t had the encounter builder mess up CR or XP yet, which is all I really need from it...
